Paxton Smith serves as President of Anchorpoint Associates, where he works directly with owners of home services companies, eCommerce brands, business services agencies, and other non-retail businesses preparing for a sale. Since joining the firm in June 2025, Paxton has focused on helping founders understand what their business is truly worth, how buyers think, and how to position their company to maximize exit value. He is particularly drawn to businesses with strong operating models, recurring or repeatable revenue, and clear paths to scale.
Before joining Anchorpoint, Paxton worked at a Fortune 500 financial institution in roles focused on expense management and regulatory reporting, where he developed a disciplined approach to financial analysis and performance measurement. He earned his Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Economics from University of Alabama. Paxton brings that financial rigor into every engagement, combining detailed valuation work with practical, founder-focused advice to guide owners through one of the most important transactions of their lives.
